Richard Mark Hammond (born 19 December, 1969) is a British TV presenter, journalist and writer. He came to fame for co-presenting the BBC Two motoring show, Top Gear along with Jeremy Clarkson and James May from 2002 till 2015. He is nicknamed "Hamster" because he is the shortest of the three.

Beginning from 2016, he began co-presenting Amazon Prime's new motoring show, The Grand Tour.
