The tent is on the quayside of Whitby harbour. Jeremy Clarkson and James May plan to undertake a Grand Tour across Italy, driving an Aston Martin DB11 and a Rolls-Royce Dawn respectively. Their plans are interrupted by Richard Hammond arriving uninvited in a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. The tour starts at the Palio di Siena, passing through the Piazza dei Signori, Vicenza and ending up in the Venetian Lagoon. However, the scenic cultural tour is constantly interrupted by Hammond's loud Hellcat with his revving, his constant need to refuel, and his insistence on performing donuts whenever possible. They eventually manage to ditch him and end up in Venice, but Hammond had somehow caught up and as he was doing donuts in a speedboat, Clarkson and May end up in the harbor.
On Celebrity Brain Crash, Simon Pegg was on his way to the tent while eating a cornetto, before he was distracted and assaulted by seagulls before he falls to his "death" from Whitby Swing Bridge by falling off it as it was open and into the freezing waters.
Jeremy Clarkson presents his take on automated vehicles, designing a car that can be controlled by speaking into a phone. In reality, the vehicle is controlled by a Romanian on a bike, as Clarkson dislikes the idea that automation would rob people of jobs.
Hammond and May destroy Clarkson's house at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire. However, first they have to remove the roof by hand to give a bat who lives there the chance to leave. They then tear down part of the house will mechanical wrecking machines, before blowing it up.
